Good Morning!
Of course, I hit the ground running (actually a brisk walk with Mr. YBR at 5am) this morning but I wanted to pause for a second and fill you in on "whazup" here at YBR.
If you've been hanging around here for awhile you know that we opened a shoppe a couple of months ago and became a mini-stockist for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. This all happened rather quickly and is evolving into something more than I had ever anticipated.
Very exciting!
When I started my blog it was to simply share my personal (neverending) projects and journal about our life "in the fast lane." Now the two have converged and some changes are necessary.
**sigh**
After much contemplation, I have decided to drop "Yellow Brick Road" and rename my blog to match the shoppe....."Restored~Home."

I'm pretty excited about this! It will require another "facelift" to change up the look around here but I think it just makes sense to simplify everything since the two are now becoming one.
The URL has changed already but will continue to redirect from the old one....no worries.
I just didn't want anyone to be surprised when you stopped by to see YBR and were greeted by
"Restored~Home" instead!
Change is good, right?!

I am soooo excited to find you on here! I am a newbie to blogging and even newer to painting furniture! I was on going to buy some ASCP at a place out in stafford I had looked at a while back. And something inside me thought I should recheck the website to see if there was any thing closer.....And you are right around the corner from me!!! I look forward to coming and not only buying paint form you but getting to see all your neat things in person!!! I have been poking around on here and I am truely inspired.
