Changed my mind.........

Good Morning from Texas!
I am working on several things for y'all.....a couple of tutorials and "stuff" ( a very official term)
......I apologize for my delay.
Restored~Home is really coming together but everything takes more time than I anticipate.   From now on whatever my time estimate is in my head I will automatically DOUBLE it and that should work just fine.  Anyone else have that issue?

Last week I sold this little dresser.
Do you remember her?

She went home with my new friend Lindsay to be used in Baby Camden's room!
How cool is that?

Let me just throw in a quick "before" pic so you can see....

I was super excited when "she" sold but then realized that I now had a large gap in my newly arranged shoppe......oui vey, dilemma......a "good" dilemma. *smile*
I don't know about you, but I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist and did not like the idea of a bare spot for any great length of time so I ran to storage and grabbed this little table to quickly fill the void.
I bet you remember her......

She was the Star in this post.  Back in July my neighbor (who is a "Wood Purist" LOL ) convinced me to leave her alone.  NO paint.....just simply wax her and let her be.
I studied my sweet little farm table and was quite content with that plan so I tucked her away nicely until I needed a quick addition to the shoppe.

Well, I hauled her out and prepared to give her a good wax and buff and realized that she just wasn't doin' it for me anymore.......you know that feeling, right?
So I sat there, again, and stared at her and tried to envision what her potential was and which direction to go.
Paint......gotta paint.....MUST paint....
I picked a color (ASCP, of course) that I had not used yet.  Aubusson Blue.....oh my, say it with me, "I LURVE this color."  S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G.  And when you wax it.......be still my little heart.....it is unbelievable.
I'll just let you see for yourself....

Little Girl got a complete updo!
Even a little stencil *bling*.

I'm pretty pleased with the change of plans....

I whipped up a little table runner to pick up her new color.
Drop cloth, again......
Does she say "French Country" to you?

She's sittin' pretty out at Restored~Home in case you are dyin' to bring her home!

And yes, those are my lamps.  I made the heartbreaking decision to let them go until my dining room was ready for a set just like them....sniff.
I think that may be the hardest part of this "job"........learning to let go of some of the treasures that I fall for.  The best part is getting to see someone else fall for them too!

 What do you think?
Would you have "stayed the course" or changed your mind on this little table?
I'm pretty content with my decision.

Blessings Abundant....
